A small studio with a long memory.
Otthon Atelier was founded in 2021 by designer Amara Njeri after a decade between Budapest, London and Nairobi. "Otthon" is the Hungarian word for home — a word that, untranslated, carries more warmth than the English one.
From a converted bungalow on Riverside Drive, our team of seven designs residential and commercial interiors across East Africa. We are slow on purpose. We accept five to seven projects a year.
Our work has been published in Elle Decoration South Africa, Wallpaper*, AD Middle East, and exhibited at Nairobi Design Week.
